TAP and World Bank to co-host seminar on "Demanding Good Governance"

On March 25, the Transparency and Accountability Program (TAP), in partnership with the Human Development Network at the World Bank, will be hosting a half-day seminar titled “Demanding Good Governance – Inside and Out.” This event will feature real-world examples of demand-side interventions that have been incorporated into service delivery.

R4D’s Affinity MacroFinance receives top honors at international finance competition

An initiative co-sponsored by the Results for Development Institute (R4D) and the Corporación Andina de Fomento (CAF) has won top honors at the Marketplace on Innovative Financial Solutions for Development, a competition hosted by the Agence Française de Développement (AFD), the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and the World Bank.

“Strengthening Institutions” country partners convene in Prague to present research on public expenditure accountability

TAP to Release French Edition of "How to Improve Governance"

Government of Kazakhstan (GoK)

The Government of Kazakhstan (GoK) provides funding for the Kazakhstan Strategic Plan 2020 project.

Kazakhstan Strategic Plan 2020

Dennis de Tray of R4D served as senior advisor to the Government of Kazakhstan (GoK) in its efforts to shape the country's next 10-year development plan and achieve the President's long-term vision, Kazakhstan 2030.

In October, 1997, the President of Kazakhstan set out a vision for the country entitled, Kazakhstan 2030. This document describes the aspirations and goals for Kazakhstan over the next 30 years, and outlines a long-term road-map for achieving this vision. Kazakhstan 2030 is being implemented through a series of 10-year plans developed by the Government of Kazakhstan (GoK). The first 10 year plan was approved by the President in December, 2001.
