Alex Robinson joined Results for Development in November 2011. She focuses primarily on health care financing and delivery innovations and works on the Center for Health Market Innovations (CHMI).

Before joining R4D, Alex worked as a consultant in Zambia for Dimagi, a Boston-based technology consultancy and social enterprise, integrating mobile technologies into global development projects.

Prior to this, Alex worked with CNFA to support private sector agricultural entrepreneurs in developing countries and conducted research on microfinance for FINCA. She has also helped to run the PresenTense global social entrepreneurship incubator in Jerusalem and worked as a farmhand in the Negev Desert. 

Alex holds a B.A. in Political Science and Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis.
