Kyle Beaulieu joined R4D’s JLN team in May 2012. On the JLN team, he focuses primarily on provider payment and communications. He moved to DC eager to re-focus on the developing world and is excited about working at R4D.
Prior to DC, Kyle spent 2011 serving as an AmeriCorps NCCC Field Team Leader leading a certified wild land fire team on projects throughout the North Central United States. Previously, he lived in Uganda as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar. While there, he researched the effectiveness of international Internally Displaced Persons policy in northern-Uganda and worked as a writer/editor for an East African political news magazine.
Kyle holds a BA in Philosophy and Political Science from Furman University, where he studied abroad in France, South Africa, and Central America.
